Congratulations to the January Virtue of the Month honorees for courage:
Nico, Hayla, Aria, and Xander.
The students will be making bags for our Valentine’s Day card exchange! Parents are welcome to send in cards for the whole school (100 students) or just your child’s class, labeled only “from” your child.
Students are welcome to wear Valentine’s Day attire! ❤️
The October virtue of the month is responsibility.
At EAEE, responsibility is fostered in many ways. Students demonstrate responsibility in their participation in our morning assembly, through their work in each class and special subjects, and in the cafeteria. Responsibility goes hand in hand with September’s virtue of the month (self-discipline).
The school year is off to a great start. We are so happy to have everyone back at school.
Throughout the school year, we focus on a virtue of the month to instill in our students. The virtue for the month of September is self-discipline. A child armed with self-discipline has a tremendous asset for addressing life’s challenges. We will introduce and practice this important virtue throughout the month of September.
At EAEE, self-discipline is supported using the 1-2-3 Magic! method. 1-2-3 Magic! offers easy-to-follow steps to immediately manage behavior with reason, patience, and compassion. We know that children thrive in consistency and clear expectations. Using 1-2-3 Magic! at EAEE, helps to provide that consistency and common language from class to class. You can find more information about 1-2-3 Magic! here.
We also have several informative parent seminars planned for this year. Join us at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13th, when Kirsten Ellingsen, PhD. will speak on the topic of worry. See below for additional information and to RSVP.
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to EAEE. Here’s to a super September!
